Information Meeting on Voter Education

Adjara. On September18, the "International Center for Civic Culture" and Association "Independent Journalists' House" have held the information meeting in the office of Association of the Elderly.
The meeting was held as part of project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) – "Voter Education in the Adjara Region".
The meeting aimed at informing the voters about the 2012 parliamentary and the Adjara Supreme Council election processes and raising the election culture among the public. The meeting, which was attended by the Association's beneficiaries and public representatives, was held in a business environment, triggering huge interest. Information materials on electoral topics were disseminated.
