Results of Monitoring of Web Pages of Public Institutions
Tbilisi. On September 19 the Institute for the
Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) has released the results of
monitoring of web pages of public institutions. The organization has monitored
the web pages of 104 public institutions. During the monitoring process the
Institute has evaluated the degree of transparency and completeness of the
public information available on the governmental sites.
According to the monitoring results, the
degree of information transparency (13.91%) and technical efficiency (39.7%) of
web pages is low.
The monitoring was implemented as part of
the project "Monitoring of Information (Internet) Resources of Public
Institutions of Georgia” and was supported by the organizations "Open Society –
Georgia” Foundation and the "National Safety Archive”.
