Pre-Election Initiative: Get To Know Your Candidates

Tbilisi. "Transparency International – Georgia” created a new Wiki web page: transparency.ge/candidates, which enables the citizens to learn more about politicians who will try to win the single-seat mandates in 73 districts on October 1. Web page aims to assist users in provision of information on the rival candidates.
Individual pages are available on the web page for the candidates, which are grouped by the districts and regions. Several profiles are already filled with the information. Owing to the Wiki format, users can add bio data of the politicians, make changes, enrich profiles with interesting details and enter into discussions with other citizens without registering on the web page. Due to this very reason, "Transparency International – Georgia” does not take responsibility for the accuracy of information posted on the web page. As the facilitator of the idea, "Transparency International – Georgia” preserves the right to remove unethical comments and information that will prove to be false.
