“Campaign for Protecting Civil Interests of Municipal Service Customers”

Samegrelo. Since February, Batumi-based CSO "Democracy Institute" together with partner organizations has started implementing the coalition project "Campaign for Protecting Civil Interests of Municipal Service Customers".The project aims to improve the rights of citizens in the process of receiving municipal services (electricity, water supply, gas supply). The project is implemented simultaneously in nine regions of Georgia and includes member organizations of the "Regional Civil Society Network" (R-CSN): association "Atinati", Civil Development Agency (Cida), Gori Information Center, Kakheti Regional Development Agency, Union of Democrat Meskhetians, Kutaisi Branch of the Georgian Young Lawyers' Association, Lanchkhuti Information Center, Mtskheta-Mtianeti Committee of the National Anti-Violence Center.The project is implemented as part of the "Policy, Advocacy and Civil Society Development in Georgia" Program (G-PAC) of the East-West Management Institute (EWMI), with funding from USAID.
