Tbilisi. The first training was delivered for
students on March 22 in the Diversity School. Non-Georgian speaking students
enrolled in the Ilia State University and the Tbilisi IvaneJavakhishvili State
University by the quota rules, as well as students of the Davit Aghmashenebeli
University of Georgia are undertaking the civil journalism course in the
School.The program includes also thematic lectures and
discussions. On March 22, the listeners have met with the representative of the
Tolerance Center functioning with the Public Defender BekaMindiashvili, who has
talked about the Tolerance Center and the tolerance theories. The meeting ended
with a discussion.The project –
"Weekly Diversity School" – is implemented by the Media Development
Fund with support of the Swiss Embassy in Georgia.
