Kakheti. "Wandering Books” have appeared
in the streets of Telavi at the initiative of youth groups and civic clubs of
public schools. The first "wandering book” – "Prince and the Pauper” – took off
from the Telavi State University. The initiative aims to achieve a cultural blockade of politicized
streets, districts, cities and the entire country.Giorgi Zardiashvili, volunteer:
"You take a book, write game rules on it and leave it in the street. Whoever
finds it reads and leaves it elsewhere, and writes a date and where and when
was it left, as well as any other desired information, while the book travels
around indefinitely – let the books accompany you.”Any interested person can make a "book wander around”.
