Samtskhe-Javakheti. Representatives of the Analytical Department of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the Georgian Young Lawyers' Association have delivered public consultations to the students and representatives of local self-government, CSOs and political parties gathered in the Akhaltsikhe Civic Engagement Center. Public consultations are delivered Georgia-wide as part of the Open Governance Partnership Project.
"At these meetings the citizens and self-government employees express ideas and opinions on issues that they encounter in practice, and especially when the state intends to undertake new obligation as part of the Open Governance Partnership Project. We would like to secure maximum citizen engagement through participation of the civil sector and interested parties," - lawyer of the Georgian Young Lawyers' Association Sulkhan Saladze said.
