Tbilisi. With
funding from the "Open Society - Georgia" Foundation, the Civil
Society Institute has launched the project – "Debates for Education and
Integration". The project aims to support the education of children in the
family-type children's homes so that the youngsters develop intellectual and
social skills.
The
debate clubs have already been established in the family-type children's homes
of Rustavi, Telavi and Kutaisi, where the trainers teach the children debating
skills. In addition, it is planned to hold the four-day forum of debates in
Tbilisi, where the youngsters will listen to thematic lectures, participate in
the debating skills trainings, and the tournament will be organized.
