ISFED Presented Methodology for Observing the Elections

Tbilisi. On September 28 the "International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy" has presented the organization's observer mission and methodology for the elections. Over 1,100 observers of the organization will observe the elections by means of the Parallel Vote Tabulation method (PVT). This method includes the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative information from the randomly selected precincts. The observers will observe the polling process during the entire day at all stages (opening of the election precinct, voting procedures, ballot count, etc.).
During the 1 October parliamentary elections the observers of ISFED will observe the elections in all 73 districts and will inform the central office about the course of the election process. On its hand, on a regular basis the organization will provide public with information received from the observers.
