GPB self-regulatory body does not satisfy complaint against a clergyman

Tbilisi. According to media.ge, Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) self-regulatory body did not satisfy the complaint by 9 NGOs and one physical person, which concerned a discriminatory statement made by a clergyman on air of First Channel on Easter.
NGOs plan to complain against the decision made by the self-regulatory body.  Complaint was signed by the Media Development Fund (MDF), Tolerance and Diversity Institute (TDI), Georgian Young Lawyers Association (GYLA), Human Rights and Monitoring Center (EMC), Women’s Initiative Support Group, Women’s Fund in Georgia, Sapari (Cover), 42nd Article of Constitution and citizen Nino Bolkvadze.
