Adjara. On October 14, the
organization "Borjghali" organized a meeting in the Batumi Office of
the Public Defender on "Socio-legal state of eco-migrants in
Georgia". Representatives of youth organizations and student initiative
groups operating in Adjara were invited to the meeting.
The
meeting aimed to identify the problems in eco-migration field, to inform the
youth about this issue in details, hear their opinions and elaborate on future
prospects.
At
the meeting the representatives of "Borjghali" informed the youth in
details about the existing situation - key problems and needs of eco-migrants.
In addition, recommendations developed by "Borjghali" were discussed,
which concern the improvement of the state policy in the field of eco-migration
and introduction of effective state regulations.
