Tbilisi. The World Hospice and
Palliative Care Day was celebrated worldwide on October 13. Along with other
countries, Georgia has been involved in this international initiative for the
third time. In 2012 the slogan for this day is "Living to the end -
palliative care for an ageing population".
To celebrate this
day the photo exhibition "Living to the edge" was organized in the
office of "Open Society - Georgia" Foundation. The photographs of
youth and old age of well-known persons were exhibited.

Nioradze presented the documentary "Sisters", which is about the
hospice functioning with the Mothers' Monastery of Transfiguration.
