Memorandum of Understanding with Synergy IPD Network
Tbilisi. On July 8 2014, Public Defender of Georgia and Network of IDP Non Governmental Organizations "Sinergy” signed the memorandum of understanding. The aim of the cooperation is implementation and development of sustainable legal and social policy for IDPs pursuant to Georgia’s international obligations for protection of the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons.In the framework of the memorandum, parties plan to establish a joint working group, which will identify violations of the rights of internally displaced persons and seek for their solutions by consultations and discussions. The working group will further provide IDPs with information on their settlement.
