Scholarship Program for Access to Learning English Language is Launched

PH-international and the Kutaisi Education, Development and Employment Center launched
the "Scholarship program for access to learning English language",
funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
The program aims to make learning English
language accessible to the youngsters from socially unprotected and poor
families. Apart from learning the English language, program participants will
get familiar with the American culture and have a possibility to develop
leadership skills.
Teenagers of 13-15 years of age are the
target group of the program and in addition to Kutaisi it is implemented in
Batumi, Telavi and Zugdidi.
Within the program framework, 25 students
were selected in Kutaisi, allocated to 2 groups. The program also includes the
organization of a week-long summer camp.
