Kakheti. On July 17 a meeting was held within framework of European Neighborhood program project – "Georgian Agricultural Industry of the Future” in the village Kachreti, Gurjaani. The meeting was attended by four main international partner organizations of agricultural industry and rural development of European neighborhood policy, Shalva Pipia, Minister of Agriculture, Juan Jose Echanove, Attache of the EU Delegation to Georgia in the direction of Agriculture, local non-governmental sector representatives and journalists.The main directions of strategy for 2014-2020s of agriculture development, safety issues of agricultural industry and food, also development of cooperative system in Georgia were discussed at the meeting. Juan Jose Echanove, Attache of the EU Delegation to Georgia in the direction of Agriculture informed the audience about the projects being implemented by EU in Georgia aiming agricultural and rural development support.
