Book for Every Village

Tbilisi. The project "Book for Every Village" was presented on August 1 in the National Library. The project will be implemented with joint efforts of non-governmental, state, private sectors and the Patriarchate of Georgia, as well as at the initiative of CSOs "Student Unity" and "Friends of a Book". The project aims to promote books among the rural population residing away from the regional centers.
The project was launched on August 1 and the population can bring the books to the "Wissol" gas stations, supermarket chain "Smart" and the restaurants of chain "Wendy's" located in the capital's central districts, as well as the offices of "Davitianni", and thus give them away for those who have no access to books.
After the National Library processes the books, the "Moving Library" will take care of providing the books to the regional population.
