Tbilisi. CSOs have released a statement on August 8 in connection with the 6th anniversary of the Russia-Georgia war. "On August 8, 6 years have gone from the start of the Russia-Georgia war. The August 2008 war is one of the most tragic events in Georgia's newest history, which has brought extremely grave results for the country... By ignoring international law and treaties, Russia has occupied the Georgian territories, followed by ethnic cleansing...", says the joint statement.
