Reforestation Initiative in Borjomi
Samtskhe-Javakheti. Representatives of the Government of
Georgia and the UN Development Program have participated in restoration of the
scorched forest in Borjomi. They have visited preparatory reforestation works
in village Daba. The forest in Borjomi scorched during the August 2008 war is
being restored since 2013. The initiative is implemented with support of the
Government of Georgia, Government of Finland and the UN Development Program
(UNDP).
