Meeting with the Adjara TV Journalists
Adjara. Information meeting was held on September
2 in the Batumi Civic Engagement Center. Which terms should be used in the
broadcasting materials covering issues related to persons with disabilities -
this topic was discussed personally by persons with disabilities with the
journalists and operators of the Public Broadcaster's Adjara TV. The seminar
was organized at the initiative of CSOs "Movement ofr Accessible
Environment", "Changes for Equal Rights" and the Coalition
"for Independent Life". Similar meetings are planned with representatives
of other mass media outlets as well.
