Guria. CSO "Women for
Regional Development" have organized a 16-day campaign against gender
violence together with the Gender Equality Civic Club functioning with the
Ozurgeti Civic Engagement Center.The festival of documentaries was organized as
part of the campaign. Part of the films was provided to organizers of the
festival by organization "People in Need". Films shown as part of the
campaign included issues of domestic violence, community mobilization, women's
participation in politics, ecology, healthy lifestyle, violence, and racism. In
the nearest future it is planned to show two films about trafficking and the
labor rights. In addition, the film – "Interview with Madeleine
Albright" will be shown.
