Adjara. Another social project - "Give a
Book to an Inmate" - was launched on October 11 in Batumi. Youngsters have
started collecting books for inmates of the penitentiary institution #3. The
project is organized by CSO "Independent Journalists' House" and the
Batumi Youth Center. Books are being collected by volunteers. Those interested
in participating in the initiative should bring books to the "Independent
Journalists' House", Press Cafe and the Public Defender's Office. The
initiative will run for approximately two weeks, following which the books will
be handed over to inmates.
