Introduction of HACCP standard for HORECA sector

In accordance with the Georgian legislation, hotels, restaurants, and cafés (HORECA) industry are required to introduce the HACCP system into operations by June 1, 2021. The USAID Agriculture Program and the USAID Economic Security Program plan to launch a comprehensive project to assist local HORECA business operators in meeting these new requirements. Within the framework of this project, the USAID Agriculture Program is going to co-fund 2 pilot HACCP certification consultancies for HORECA Industry operating in Kakheti and Imereti. Source:
