“The Georgian Center for Psychosocial and Medical Rehabilitation of Torture Victims (GCRT)” together with the partner organizations: Union “Sapari”, “Women’s Initiatives Supporting Group”, „Society of Democratic Women of Marneuli “, “Artarea” and “Women’s Fund in Georgia” is implementing a project „Contribution to Elimination of Gender Based Violence and Domestic Violence in Georgia” (EuropeAid/171780/DD/ACT/GE). The project is financed by the European Union.

In frames of the project, “Women’s Fund in Georgia” announces the grant competition “Prevention of Violence against Women”. The competition aims to eliminate domestic and gender-based violence.

Competition is open to:

Non-governmental organizations working on women’s issues registered in Georgia;

Initiative groups working on women’s issues.

Applicants should preferably have work experience in the following areas:

• Gender-based and domestic violence;
• Women’s rights;
• Sexual and reproductive health and rights;
• Rights of women representing ethnic and religious minorities;
• LBTQI+ persons;
• Displaced women;
• Women with disabilities;
• Women sentenced to probation;
• and others.
