Call for Proposals

The Embassy of Japan in Georgia is announcing a call for proposals under the Grassroots Human Security Grant Program (GGP).

By supporting basic human needs, the program aims to improve the living standard and promote human security in Georgia. The GGP program covers the following fields: public health, education, social protection, agriculture, environment and poverty alleviation.

The deadline is June 30, 15:00.

Grant amount: approximately 70,000 USD dollar;

Project duration: 1 year.

Eligible actions/costs:

• Construction/Rehabilitation

• Purchasing heavy equipment

Non-eligible costs:

• Salaries

• VAT

• Running costs (utilities, administrative, etc.)

• One-time activities (e.g. trainings etc.)

Who can apply?

•. NGOs and INGOs;

•. Local public authorities (mayor’s office);

In highly exceptional cases:

•. Educational and Medical institutions;

•. Government institutions (LEPLs);
