About USAID National Governance Program:

The USAID National Governance Program is a five-year contract (2022-2027) which aims to increase government accountability and responsiveness to citizens by enhancing the effectiveness, transparency, and accountability of Government of Georgia (GOG) institutions, boosting the effectiveness and independence of oversight institutions and empowering citizens to hold the government accountable.

The Fellowship:

To help contribute to these efforts, USAID National Governance Program is currently recruiting four fellows to be placed with the Program`s partner Budget and Finance Committee of the Parliament of Georgia. Two fellows will be placed with the Audit Working Group of the Budget and Finance Committee, one fellow with the Legal Unit and one fellow with the Finance Unit.

Successful applicants will have a unique opportunity to acquire first-hand experience in legislative drafting, policy research and analysis, parliamentary committee operations and budgetary process and analysis.

The fellowship is a full-time, six-month program covering the period between September 2023 - February 2024, with a possibility of extension for up to 6 months. The Program will take into consideration graduating students` educational calendar.
