MFA of Finland's Support to Cultural Development Cooperation projects to the local organizations/institutions
The projects should promote cooperation between cultural operators in the country and Finland. Possible activities are for instance different workshops or projects that aim at equality in exchange of experience. The support is granted to workshops and projects that promote education, support the culture and cultural identity of the country and create networks.
Some examples of supported projects: Theatre workshop for the visually handicapped, dance workshops for professionals and in schools, project to support the local handicraft tradition.
The objectives of the projects must enhance the targets of Finland's Development Policy program: democracy and human rights, education, poverty reduction, equality, environment.

Please note, that the support can be used e.g. for travel and accommodation expenses of the Finnish participant(s), for the real project costs of a workshop or a training but not to administrative costs or to salaries/fees of the participants.
Applications should be submitted by February 14, 2014.
The support is managed by the MFA's Department for Communications and Culture in consultation with the Ambassador to the South-Caucasus.
