Civil Society: Dialogue for Progress
Leaders of the Civil Society Organizations are welcome to apply for participation in the new capacity development program and have their say in the policy dialogue on national level!
The Program is designed and implemented by the EU-funded Technical Assistance project "Strengthening non-State actors' Capacities to Promote Reform and increase Public Accountability" which operates in 6 Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
  • You work for CSO which participates in the policy dialogue in your local community but still need to strengthen capacities to go the national level?
  • Do you want the voices of your audiences’ to be heard by decision-makers?
Then this Program is a good chance to get new skills and knowledge, find new partners and likeminded colleagues, and actively participate in the Multi-stakeholder dialogue between civil society, authorities and EU experts.
Become even more experienced with our 3-modules training program with total of 6 trainings:
Module 1 - Strengthening technical/organizational aspects of selected CSOs:
•Strategic planning;
•Resource management;
•Fundraising, proposal writing;
•Project design and management;
•Change management;
•Volunteer management
Module 2 - Development of technical and organizational skills in the sphere of effective participation in policy dialogue:
•Policy analysis;
•Negotiation;
•Basics of citizen’s rights;
•Advocacy and lobbying;
•Networking and coalition building;
•PR and campaigning for CSOs;
•Know your audiences: quantitative and qualitative research;
•Monitoring of policy implementation; national budgetary processes
Module 3: Strengthening alliance building and networking
Capacity building stage of the Program will run from March 2014 till 2015.
Participants then will be actively involved into the Multi-stakeholder dialogue through:
-Regional expert meetings and professional field discussions including visits to the most successful projects.
-Networking with the leading civil society organizations, state officials and EU experts to develop consolidated positions on discussed policy issue
-Participation in the Multi-stakeholder dialogues on national level
Successful graduates will get certificates.
We are looking for:
-High motivated CSO leaders, ready to spare enough time for participation in all Program events
-Representatives from the mainly regional-based CSOs not yet involved into the policy dialogue on national level
-English language is not an obligatory but an added value
-The priority will be given to the representatives of CSOs active in the following areas: (list of the policy priority areas for the respective country)
