European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development in Georgia

EU announces European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development in Georgia (ENPARD Georgia). The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to contribute to the increase of food production in Georgia and a reduction in rural poverty. The specific objective of this Call for Proposals is to improve the agriculture sector in Georgia by supporting the implementation of the Agriculture Sector Strategy and strengthening small farmers' organizations. The main priority for this call is the support and development of business-oriented small farmers groups The following co-applicants are however also eligible: Non-governmental organizations established in any other eligible ENPI countries, provided they have demonstrable experience of at least 3 years in implementing agriculture and/or rural development projects in Georgia within the last 10 years. Academic institutions, research centres, think tanks and similar entities from eligible ENPI countries with demonstrable experience in the field of agriculture, food sector and/or rural development. Farmers' organizations, unions, cooperatives and similar entities from eligible ENPI countries. Local or regional Authorities (or associations of Local federations, associations, chambers of commerce and similar entities from eligible ENPI countries Authorities) from a Member State of the European Union or Georgia.
