Tbilisi. "We often hear that motherhood is a full-time work, however, in reality, according to studies, the work performed by a mother is equivalent to two and a half full-time workdays. A new American study shows that, on average, mothers work 98 hours a week, which two and more times exceeds a working week, the average duration of which constitutes 39 hours”, - writes an organization "Sapari” in this regard in the material published on its website.

According to the material, researchers studied a time table of 2000 mothers who had children from 5 to 12 years of age. They found that an average working day of a mother starts at 6:23 in the morning and ends at 8:13 in the evening. The study showed that mothers, as a rule, were taking care of their children even during their free time. Of course, they worked during off days the same as during workdays.
