Tbilisi. The "Georgian Young Constitutionalists' Association" of Georgia calls on the public to draw more attention to acquisition of citizenship of the Russian Federation.

The Association reacted to the recent initiative of the Russian Federation on simplification of acquisition of citizenship and reminded the society and Georgian citizens that pursuant to the effective legislation of Georgia, by acquiring a nationality of another state a person loses Georgian citizenship automatically.
