Kakheti. Meeting with the youth of Telavi was a very active discussion. It is hopeful to talk with them about the future of Georgia, the will to enter the European Union, and some steps that should be taken in this regard. Singer George Ushishvili stressed out the importance of the EU's effort to preserve Georgian folk music and culture in general. TI Georgia’s executive director Eka Gigauri, according to her own experience gave students a clear picture of how to get scholarships in order to study in Europe. Regions. On October 25, 27 and 28, the campaign visited Gori, Ozurgeti and Kutaisi and met with local parents, teachers of schools and kindergartens and representatives of educational resource centers. Along with the presentation of “Parents' ABC” at the meeting, psychologist Maya Tsiramua told parents about positive parenting methods and shared how we can become better parents, what are the ways to create a harmonious and understanding relationship with children and how to promote their development. Tbilisi. On October 24-26, Europe Foundation held a training on investigative reporting and digital security for media professionals. For three days, the participants worked on techniques for effective sourcing and interviewing, strategies for protecting sources, ways to search for documents and data outside Georgia, finding information online and through social media, secure communication. Samtskhe-Javakheti. Meeting with the US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly C. Degnan  was held at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University on October 25, 2022. Together with the local students, participants of the GFSIS project from villages Mokhe, Zarzma and Daba Adigeni attended the meeting.  Community Youth Engagement in the Regions of Georgia has been launched since October 2021 by Rondeli Foundation with the financial support of the US Embassy, which aims to increase civic awareness among public school pupils of Mountainous Adjara, Tserovani, and Adigeni Municipality and stregthen their capacity through non-formal educational activities. On October 18-19,  2022, in the framework of the project Community Youth Engagement in the Regions of Georgia, the following discussion was held by George Melashvili (President of the European-Georgian Institute) and Aka Zarqua (Online edition Realpolitik editor-in-chief). The lawyers of Transparency International - Georgia visited the regions of Imereti, Samegrelo and Adjara and provided information to the population on the issues of systematic land registration. We gave legal advice to citizens about their rights and duties within the framework of systematic land registration. The systematic registration of land, according to the plan established by the National Agency of Public Registry, is already underway in the entire territory of the country. It's a day to recognize those with cerebral palsy (CP) and their families. “Cerebral palsy is a group of disorders that affect coordination and muscle tone/posture. On September 29-30, 2022, the Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) in cooperation with the National Parliament Library of Georgia held a presentation on the issue of repressed people in Kaspi, Borjomi, and Gori and a screening of the film "Cemetery of the Shot in Batumi" shot by Radio Free Georgia/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL). “Before the screening of the film, Anton Vatcharadze, the Memory and Disinformation Studies Direction Head of the Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI), gave a presentation on the theme of the repressed and talked about the great terror that took place in Georgia in 1937-1938, introduced a different history from the mentioned era to the audience, and also drew attention to the specificity and significance of the discovery of mass graves. On August 18-20, 2022, Boot Camp: "Polarized Society Facing Hybrid Challenges", organized by the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) and the University of Georgia (UG), was held in which the students of the IDFI/UG Academic and Certificate Course - Disinformation and Propaganda Studies: History, Theories and Ways of Debunking were involved. Within the framework of the two-day camp, the participants discussed the modern challenges of hybrid warfare, the current trends related to the manipulation of information, and the spread of propaganda. Special attention was paid to the policies following Russia's aggressive invasion of Ukraine and the leverages of society based on Ukraine's experience in the fight against hybrid warfare. Tbilisi. A closing meeting was held on June 11-12 within the framework of the ongoing project “Empowering New Generation of Local Civil Society Leaders in Georgia". "The project is being implemented with the technical support of ISFED and the financial support of the Black Sea Trust, a Project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Young leaders who have attended civic education workshops from different municipalities of Georgia participated in the meeting. The main goal of the meeting was to give the graduates an opportunity to inform each other about the success stories accumulated as a result of participating in the project. Those graduates, who implemented small grant initiatives in their municipalities within the project, shared their successful practices with others, talked about the implemented activities, the achieved results, and the lessons learned.
