The debates concerned the resolution "Euthanasia is justified". 4 teams have participated in the tournament, which were well aware of the topic and had carried out relevant research for better familiarizing with the concerned topics. Mastering of the art of debates enhances among the youngsters the right argumentation, public speech techniques, active listening, and respect of time and the opponent. Debating teams are required to fully understand the key and unclear terms of the resolution. Imereti. The Kutaisi Youth Center has held the event titled "Peers for Peers" for the children with disabilities. Members of the Kutaisi Youth Center have sold the hand-made postcards prepared by the persons with disabilities, have met with the children of the "Magic World" day center for children with disabilities, and learned about their wishes. In light of the very children's wishes, they have bought with a collected money the musical center and presented it to the children. Tbilisi. On March 2, NGO "Legal Development and Consultations Group" has presented the results of the project "Social Media for the Integration of Youth" and awarded the winner bloggers. The project aimed at enhancing inter-cultural communication among the youngsters of various ethnicities living in Georgia and raising their civil awareness. Senior schoolchildren of Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaijani origins from the Akhaltsikhe and Marneuli schools were involved in the project. As part of the project, youngsters have created youth blogs, where they have posted information and discussed their own culture, traditions and issues of concern to them. The project was implemented with financial support of the German Marshall Fund (The Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation – German Marshall Fund).

Kakheti.In the Sighnaghi District, NGOs "Civic Initiative" and the Nukriani Community Union "Nukriani" implement a joint, coalition project "Online-civil participation in the self-government decision-making process". Imereti. On February26, the film screening and discussion was organized for the members of the Kutaisi Youth Center. ZazaRusadze's documentary "Bandits – Airplane Guys" was shown, telling the story of hijacking the Soviet passenger plane by seven friends on 18 November 1983. Hijackers dreamed of leaving for the West. This story is a tragic moment of the Georgian history and is covered in secret until today. A discussion was held after the movie. On February 19, IDP youngsters trained as part of the project "Social Enterprise: Accounting and Web-Design Center" have delivered a training in the office of NGO "Borjghali" to their peer IDPs. Training was delivered in "setting up and managing the blogs". In addition to major beneficiaries of the project, the training was attended by the members of volunteer club "Batusi" functioning with "Borjghali". A training in project drafting was delivered in the office of the "Union of Young Teachers" for the representatives of schoolchildren's self-governments of the organization's partner schools.At the training, the stages of working on the project were discussed in detail: how should the priority problems be identified, how should the concrete ideas be processed and the key outline of the project designed.Throughout the training the adolescents have developed several project ideas that will be transformed into projects and will be submitted to the micro-grants competition of the "Union of Young Teachers".The organization has announced the competition for the schoolchildren's self-governments of partner schools this month.

Samegrelo. "A minor and a crime" was the topic discussed by the police and NGO representatives on February 19 in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Chief Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the Deputy Head of the Chief Department KobaTsertsvadze, to prevent crime among the minors, public participation in the preventive measures along with the police officers should increase. The psychologist of association "Atinati" MakaGogokhia believes that more complex work is required for reducing the juvenile delinquency. "Similar meetings are necessary, but everyone should do much more in this respect. Even doing a small thing may become so important for these juveniles", - the psychologist said.

Tbilisi. The "Liberty Camp" announces admission to the liberty camp on the topic "idea of liberty today". During six days the participants will work on topics such as civic education and its need, fundamental human rights, significance of education in the current society.
