Guria. The Lanchkhuti Information Center has developed the library management electronic program "GeoLib". The program is Georgia-made and is based on the asp.net technology. It provides a possibility to fill in and edit the books database, search for the books, register withdrawals and returns of the books, fill in / edit the database of readers and to carry out various types of statistical registrations.

Imereti.At the initiative of the Kutaisi Education, Development and Employment Center, the trainings were held in the Kutaisi Office of the Public Defender for the network of organizations in "Networking and Strategic Planning". Training participants received information on networking and its practical application. Tbilisi. On September 19 the Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) has released the results of monitoring of web pages of public institutions. The organization has monitored the web pages of 104 public institutions. During the monitoring process the Institute has evaluated the degree of transparency and completeness of the public information available on the governmental sites. According to the monitoring results, the degree of information transparency (13.91%) and technical efficiency (39.7%) of web pages is low. The monitoring was implemented as part of the project "Monitoring of Information (Internet) Resources of Public Institutions of Georgia” and was supported by the organizations "Open Society – Georgia” Foundation and the "National Safety Archive”. Samtskhe-Javakheti. From September 14, the "Agro Development Group" starts the development-strengthening of farmers' service centers and veterinary drugstores in Samtskhe-Javakheti (the Municipalities of Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Aspindza, Ninotsminda and Akhalkalaki). The organization aims to introduce modern technologies in this region and carry out the educational-qualification activities with the farmers and veterinarians. Samtskhe-Javakheti. With the support of the Akhaltsikhe Center for Public Development and the Akhaltsikhe Youth Center, the visit to the Atskuri student-youth camp was organized for the members of the Akhaltsikhe Municipality's civic club. Currently the project "Turn On the Sun - Heat Your Home" is being implemented in the Atskuri camp, where the population are trained in the use of solar energy. The Chairman of the Akhaltsikhe Center for Public Development NugzarTateshvili told the members of the civic club about the water heating solar collectors and the rules of their installment. The visit to the Atskuri camp aimed at applying the natural science in practice. The members of the civic club received exhausting information on the use of solar energy and got familiar with the solar collectors on the ground.

Tbilisi. Skype, Facebook – EWMI G-PAC has started applying these new media technology tools for evaluating the grant proposals. Owing to this initiative, the commission evaluating a grant proposal has the opportunity during the evaluation process to contact the applicant via Skype or telephone and ask various questions about the project ideas. As the organization's official web page states, "formulation of project ideas in writing is a huge challenge for the organizations in Georgia's regions. Conveying the ideas verbally is so much easier for them". On July 6 EWMI G-PAC held the online consultation through the new media technologies concerning the paid internship program, which was delivered to the persons and organizations interested in the internship.
