The Association of Young Economists of Georgia has implemented the project "Piloting Entrepreneurship Education in Public Schools of Georgia" as part of the US Embassy's Democracy Commission Small Grants Program.Within the project framework, AYEG has actively cooperated with the Ministry of Education of Georgia. Tbilisi. Sixth lecture was delivered for members of the Club of Religions of the Caucasian Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development, devoted to the Catholic Georgians. Shida Kartli. On April 16th the Youth Centre of the association Gori Invalids Club held a seminar Kelktseuli village of Gori district. Samtskhe-Javakheti. On April 14th Akhaltsikhe municipality hall a forum of "Youth Camp 2014” was held within the Civil Education and Teachers’ Retraining programme. Photo exhibition was held of 6 projects in partner schools of Samtkhe-Javakhet. The forum was attended by 48 schoolchildren from 12 Georgian and 12 non-Georgian schools.

On April 11th the youth organization "Young Board” held a lecture-seminar for students in Centre for Democratic Participation.Professor Gia Masalkin talked about the creation of universities and the present situation of the universities in Adjara.  About 30 students of Batumi State University are involved in the project.

Imereti. On April 13th the Imereti branch of Georgian Scout Movement joined the activity "Use the Zebra Line” organized by "children of Georgia”. 25 scouts from Imereti took part in the event.

Tbilisi. "First Step Georgia" implements a pilot project, which aims to support pre-school inclusive education in Georgia. The project includes 6 public kindergartens in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi and aims to facilitate integration of children with special needs and increase their participation in kindergartens.Within the project framework, the inclusive education expert, Professor of the University of Kentucky Jennifer Grisham-Brown has delivered trainings with participation of specialists of children's early development, who are involved in the Pre-School Inclusive Education Support project.After the training, early development specialists of "First Step" will train the kindergarten teachers participating in the pilot project and will transfer acquired knowledge to them. As part of the "Open Governance" program of the Research-Intellectual Center "Dialogue of Generations", 9th meeting was dedicated to the functions and duties of local self-government civil servants.What should a local self-government civil servant be like - lawyer Nana Chapidze has discussed this with the program participants. After examining civil servants in terms of local self-government, meeting participants have also discussed the notion and principles of self-government in general.Following the lecture course, the meeting traditionally ended with question-and-answer discussion. Tbilisi. A march was organized from Metro Rustaveli station to the Freedom Square Metro station on April 12 to commemorate the International Day for Street Children. CSOs "Institute for Non-Violent Communication", the Georgian Center for Psychosocial and Medical Rehabilitation of Torture Victims, Partnership for Human Rights, union "Sapari", association "Kamara" and volunteers interested in this issue have organized the event.The event aimed to remind the society and the state about their obligations before the street children.
