Tbilisi. "First Step Georgia"
implements a pilot project, which aims to support pre-school inclusive
education in Georgia. The project includes 6 public kindergartens in Tbilisi,
Kutaisi, Batumi and aims to facilitate integration of children with special
needs and increase their participation in kindergartens.Within the project framework, the
inclusive education expert, Professor of the University of Kentucky Jennifer
Grisham-Brown has delivered trainings with participation of specialists of
children's early development, who are involved in the Pre-School Inclusive Education
Support project.After the training, early development
specialists of "First Step" will train the kindergarten teachers
participating in the pilot project and will transfer acquired knowledge to
them.
