Adjara. The Batumi Youth Center has organized a peer training on gender equality on December 22 in the Batumi Press Cafe, with participation of the Center's representatives and schoolchildren of various public schools, total of 40 participants. The peer training was planned and implemented by the students of the gender thematic school. The training included various exercises, screening of short films and presentations on issues such as difference between sex and gender, gender equality, feminism, gender equality in the history of Georgia, gender stereotypes, legislative base, current situation in the world and Georgia, factors triggering gender inequality and the role of the society.
