Imereti. The Kutaisi Youth Center has celebrated the International Day for Tolerance on November 16 with an information campaign. Main slogan of the event participants was "Let's Be Tolerant!". Kakheti. Members of the Telavi Youth Center have celebrated the International Day for Tolerance on November 16. As part of the event, the schoolchildren have talked to co-citizens about tolerance, and the thematic videos were produced. Event participants have carried out the opinion poll as well, which has established that 90% of the population are not aware of tolerance. Imereti. To celebrate the International Day for Tolerance on November14, meeting of the discussion club was held for the members of the Kutaisi Youth Center. Topic of the discussion was "Tolerance, Diversity and Human Rights". Kvemo Kartli. On November13 the Bolnisi Culture House has hosted the "KvemoKartli Youth Festival 2013". The event was held as part of the "Sida's" project "Supporting Juvenile Justice Reform in KvemoKartli and National Minority Communities of Samtskhe-Javakheti", attended by the juvenile probationers from Bolnisi at conflict with law. KvemoKartli culture houses, youth and education centers, public schools and sports-recreational complexes have participated in the festival.Exhibition-sale of works of fine and applied arts took place and competitions in the Georgian wrestling, chess and Khridoli were held. As part of the Advancing National Integration in Georgia program, UN modeling was organized in the Telavi Education, Development and Employment Center with participation of the Center's young volunteers.According to the organizers of the meeting, a competition was held, winners of which will participate in the national UN modeling to be held in Tbilisi.

Shida Kartli. A training on strategic planning and program management was delivered on November 14 in the Gori Youth Center of the "Association of the Gori Club of the Disabled". Adjara. The Adjara leaders of the "Coalition for Independent Life" have delivered a "lesson of kindness" on November 13 to the schoolchildren of the Batumi School #16. Over two hours teachers with disabilities have talked to children about problems in protecting the rights of persons with disabilities and the incorrect use of terms towards the persons with disabilities. Further, to achieve maximum interaction with the schoolchildren during the lesson, they were given concrete assignments, in which they have expressed their vision on the employment of persons with disabilities. It is planned to deliver similar lessons in the other schools of Batumi as well, aiming at raising the schoolchildren's awareness and promoting the right attitude towards the community with disabilities.

Samtskhe-Javakheti. At the initiative of the Charity Humanitarian Center "Abkhazeti", 78 schoolchildren affiliated with the eco-clubs of public schools of eight villages in the Gori Municipality have visited on November 9-10 the Borjomi-Kharagauli forest-park. The schoolchildren got familiar with the biodiversity of this park and hiked the special route together with the professional excursion guide.The objective of this tour was to get the schoolchildren of eco-clubs familiar with the fauna and flora of the forest-park and for them to select topics for subsequent presentation at the special conference.The event was held as part of the "Youth Engagement and Participation" project, funded by USAID and implemented with support of UNICEF.

Kvemo Kartli. SIQA has organized the employment of 14 members of school-based civic clubs in various regional institutions under the internship program. The internship program is implemented as part of the Civic Education and Teacher Training Program. Based on the internship program, the schoolchildren of four public schools of Rustavi work in the Rustavi Public Service Hall, while the schoolchildren of two public schools are on internship in the World Language Academy. The Georgian and Azerbaijani schoolchildren of the Marneuli public schools work based on the internship program in the Marneuli Public Service Hall. Tbilisi. 13 November the Charter of Journalistic Ethics and UNICEF presented results of monitoring of coverage of children’s issues by Georgian media. During the monitoring period which started 1 June and will finish 1 September the Charter studied 2297 materials – video-reports, articles and short news which directly or indirectly related to children.  Thematically mostly were covered topics related to criminal and court; media paid less attention to such important topics as education and healthcare. Representatives of the Children and Youth Fund have attended on November 8 in the Zugdidi Civic Engagement Center the presentation of integrated youth club project functioning with the Association of Mothers of Disabled Women and Children "Dea". The project aims to raise citizen responsibility in environmental issues, as well as to involve youth in information-education activities and ecologically-oriented practical events. Representatives of the Public Healthcare Fund have held a meeting on November 6 in the Telavi Civic Engagement Center, attended by representatives of the Social Service Agency and the non-governmental sector. Mtskheta-Mtianeti. "Young Barristers" launch the project - "Local Leaders" for the senior schoolchildren of the public school in the Mtskheta Municipality. Imereti. A study tour to the Parliament of Georgia was organized on November 4-5 for the members of the Kutaisi Youth Center. As part of the visit, youngsters got familiar with the Parliament of Georgia, its mission and structure, and were briefed about latest information on the pending reforms. Youngsters have visited the Parliament's new building and listened to a mini-lecture on the Parliament's functions, structure, departments and architecture. Adjara. The Trial Local Committee of international youth organization "AIESEC Batumi" has briefed the students on exchange programs on November 4 in the conference hall of the Batumi State University. Representatives of the organization have talked also about specifics of AIESEC's work and terms of internship abroad. AIESEC is the strongest and the most large-scale international student organization with representatives in numerous countries. Currently the Local Committee in Adjara and namely in Batumi works for a probation period, however, the organization's representatives hope that in the future "AIESEC Batumi" will definitely assist youngsters in the development of leadership skills.
