Tbilisi. On February 21 "Club of Young Deplomats of Georgia” opened a winter session of the modeling of the Parliament of Georgia. There are over 200 participants from Tbilisi and the regions. The motto of the session: "Youth for European choice”. For three days delegates will be working on legislation concerning the integration of Georgia into NATO and EU. During the meeting one of the members of the centre held a training the in Azeri language about "Healthy ways of life”. Kakheti. The advocacy campaign, which was aimed to provide information to the Telavi population about how to manage the existing problems around the cleaning service tax, has ended. Within the framework of the campaign bulletins about the cleaning tax, the ways of its collection, and payment, were distributed to the members of the youth club. Samtskhe-Javakheti. CSO "Civic Initiatives Association" has presented the study results in Akhaltsikhe on February 22. Problems in the eyes of the youth - study in this area was carried out in January 2014 in the two municipalities: Akhaltsikhe and Akhalkalaki. The study aimed to identify the vision of the youth on their problems and the existing socio-economic situation. 130 respondents aged from 18 to 29 were interviewed.The study was carried out as part of the project "Diversity - Our Strength", with financial support of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies and the Government of Finland.

Tbilisi. "Free Debate League” held congress modeling. The event lasted for three days and took place in Free University and National Library. The congress modeling consisted of lectures, committee activities, and general assembly.There were 7 chambers presented for the modeling: economic, human rights, healthcare, integration with Europe, environment protection, education, and military defence. Kvemo Kartli. On February 21 in the office of "Siqa” a social training "How to shoot a video” was held within the framework of social education and retraining programme of teachers. The training was directed by bloggers and attended by the members of Rustavi schools’ social clubs. The attendees learned how to work with a video camera, choose a right shot, distribute a video. They also learned about the ways how to deal with problems about video advocacy. The participators also did a practical work and with 4 shots expressed various problems. Samegrelo. On February 21 the members of the youth centre "Ortusi” visited the Zugdidi district court. This was done within the framework of studying visit. The youngsters had a possibility to attend a court session.The aim of the action was raise the youngsters’ conscience about legislation and to provide information on the structure of the local court system. On February 20 the youth organization "Changes for equal rights” held another "Lesson of Kindness” in the II public school I Batumi.The 5th-6th form schoolchildren discussed the issues concerning the disabled people. Also, they were given terms definition.The "Lessons of Kindness” are held within the "Advocacy of the Disabled” project.

Imereti. The Georgian-Dutch project "Friendly Ways" was presented on February 20 for members of the Kutaisi Youth Center, implemented by the Foundation "Partnership for Road Safety". The presentation aimed to inform youngsters about events planned as part of the program, as well as how should the Georgian roads become safer for citizens and how should the road accidents and risks be avoided. On February 19 the representatives of the Bolnisi schools’ civil clubs by the initiative of the organization "Siqa”, and within the framework of the "Programme of Civil Education and Teachers’ Retraining”, visited the National Centre of Intellectual Property. Adjara. CSO "Borjghali" has launched on February15 a new project - "Democracy Narrators' School". The professor of the Georgian-American University and political scientists BakarBerekashvili has delivered the first seminar on the "Democracy - its classical and modern perception". He talked about the origins of notion of democracy and what is the dynamics of its historic development. On February 16, KobaKuprashvili has talked to 22 students of the School about the link between the democracy and the state. The "Democracy Narrators' School" was developed as part of the project "Histories of Democracy for Civil Awareness", implemented with support of the "Open Society - Georgia" Foundation.

Guria.  A discussion on the prohibition of discrimination and tolerance was organized on February 15 in Ozurgeti in the office of the Young Teachers' Union. Discussion was led by the lawyer of the Georgian Democratic Initiative GiorgiMshvenieradze and philosopher LevanGhambashidze. The meeting aimed at holding regional discussions on issues such as prohibition of discrimination, tolerance, secularism as the principle of state governance. Discussion participants have talked about the environment in terms of tolerance in the Guria Region and countrywide, the rights of minorities and mechanisms of their protection.
