"The organization would like to express its utmost concern over the information disseminated by the General Director of TV company "Rustavi 2" at the special briefing. According to the statement, a secret source has provided to the TV company's management the audio and video recordings of the General Director of "Rustavi 2" Nika Gvaramia and the Head of the News Service Nino Shubladze, which, according to them, were stored in the Ministry of Interior. ... As media.ge reports, CSO representatives demand the launch of investigation into release of video recordings made in the offices of General Director of TV company "Rustavi 2" Nika Gvaramia and his Deputy Nino Shubladze.Nika Gvaramia has requested a meeting with CSO representatives on May 6. "Today it was once again proven that they are still listening to us and the Prime Minister has lied when he had denied this fact. It is further alarming that we hear this from Nika Gvaramia. "The Public Defender of Georgia positively assesses adoption of the anti-discrimination legislation by the Parliament of Georgia which is essential for signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union and the visa liberation process. ...Despite a positive assessment, the Public Defender of Georgia has three essential observations regarding the draft law which has a crucial importance for effective implementation of the important law and at this point has not been considered by the Government and the Parliament.
