The Ozurgeti-based "Union of Young Teachers” posted the photo-material and information on the ancient baths that "specialists date to approximately 5-6 Century B.C.”, the post says.The baths are located in the city center, under the Public Service Hall and the Ozurgeti Theatre. According to the provided information, "ancient baths were damaged during the construction of the Public Service Hall in Ozurgeti ... CSOs "European House” and "Partnership for Road Safety” and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Georgia have organized a seminar on the road traffic and road safety.The seminar aimed to have representatives of the authorities meet with experts and interested business partners, share experience and establish contacts for the sake of improving the road safety in Georgia. Samegrelo. On February 25 the members of the youth centre "Ortusi” of the association "Atiani” held a peer training – "Violence” – in a school of Chkaduashi village. The participants were the schoolchildren of the same school. Peer-educators provided information about various reasons and results of violence. The society "Memorial" and the Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information have organized an exhibition on political prisoner women of the Soviet Period in front of the former Parliament building to commemorate the day of Georgia's Sovietization. Exhibited are the lists and photos of victims of persecutions, works created by the political prisoner women in the prison cells, as well as their letters. Tbilisi. On February 21 "Club of Young Deplomats of Georgia” opened a winter session of the modeling of the Parliament of Georgia. There are over 200 participants from Tbilisi and the regions. Tbilisi. CSO "Sida" has organized a contest for bloggers on February 24. The contest was organized as part of the EU-funded project "Supporting the Juvenile Justice Reform in the National Minority Communities of KvemoKartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti". Total of 6 bloggers were selected. The event aimed to raise public awareness on the juvenile justice issues and pending reforms by providing the trustworthy and interesting information on behalf of bloggers to the users of social networks. During the meeting one of the members of the centre held a training the in Azeri language about "Healthy ways of life”. With support of the US Agency for International Development, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems and CSO "Coalition for Independent Life" have organized a conference on February 24. The participants have discussed the following issues: ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and its impact on the political process in Georgia; legislative initiatives to secure political and electoral access for persons with disabilities; a role of the civil society in raising of public awareness and facilitating the participation.
