Tbilisi. The Traveling University is a civic education platform established by the United Nations Association of Georgia as part of the EU supported project “Local Investments in Networks for Knowledge and Skill-share” (LINKS).
“Based on the experience of the public, People’s University developed during the First Republic, the Traveling University tries to involve the groups that are less active in civic and public life. Within the Traveling University, lectures, seminars, and discussion meetings are held in villages and regional centers”.

Shida Kartli. The Association "Anika" held meetings with local people and representatives of municipalities in Shida Kartli within the framework of the advocacy campaign of the project “Cross-Disability Partnership for Protecting the Rights using Law”.

Tbilisi. The interactive map created by the Rondeli Foundation contains open-source information on the facts related to "borderization," including video and photographic materials. The map shows the dates when the "borderization" of a particular section took place and provides an insight on the dynamics of the "borderization" process.
Moreover, the map is adaptive which means that new cases of "borderization" will be incorporated.

Tbilisi. In order to promote awareness and vaccination, 130 training sessions were held in 8 regions of Georgia (Tbilisi, Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Imereti, Samegrelo, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Adjara, Kakheti), which were attended by more than 1600 listeners.
“Nurses, hospital attendants and non-medical staff of clinics have a key role in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. During the training sessions, the vaccination experts provided detailed information to the clinic staff about COVID-19, vaccines, and the safety of vaccination”.

Adjara. From January 4, delegation from the Polish National Memory Institute (IPN) invited by the Eparchy of Batumi and Lazeti and IDFI, is examining and excavating human remains discovered in Adjara from the sixth mass terror.
On February 3, Polish specialists fully excavated №6 mass grave, after which the process of exhumation began. Due to archaeological excavations specialists discovered skeletal remains of 29 victims.

Shida-Kartli. Kaori Ishikawa, the UN Women Country Representative in Georgia, visited the Gori Crisis Centre for the victims and survivors of domestic violence, got acquainted with the activities of the Center and discussed plans and opportunities related to its sustainability.

Tbilisi. The EU and UNDP are assisting nine educational institutions in Georgia to recruit and retrain youth workers. The initiative runs in partnership with the youth organization ‘Sunny House’.

Tbilisi. The Public Defender’s Office has prepared a study assessing the impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic on the rights situation of women working in the health sector, both in their workplace and social life.
To address the above needs, a small-scale survey was conducted and 90 women employed in the health sector were interviewed by telephone. Both nurses and doctors were among the respondents.

Tbilisi. The analytical document is the second chapter of a study conducted by the Social Justice Center titled “Everyday Lives and Multifaceted Oppression of Muslim Women of Georgia.”
