According to the information of the IDFI, on November 25, 2021, the Supreme Court of Russia will consider the claim for liquidation of the Society Memorial, filed by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.  “Founded in 1989, the Society Memorial is still actively researching totalitarianism and aims to raise public awareness not only in Russia but also around the world. The Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) and Society Memorial have been working together for years - especially on the issue of mass graves of victims of the Political repressions in the Soviet Union, about which Memorial has a great deal of experience. Tbilisi. Today, the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) presented a study – “Public attitude towards electoral processes”. Within the framework of the study, there were examined the attitude of society towards participation in the elections, in general, as well as the progression of electoral processes and malpractices during the elections.  According to information released by the organization, the document is based on the results of quantitative and qualitative research. Within the framework of the quantitative research, data were collected through a telephone survey methodology. There were conducted interviews with 3100 adults in Georgian, Armenian, Azerbaijani, and Russian languages. Collected data are representative of the population of Georgia, except for those living within the occupied territories. As part of the qualitative research, six focus group meetings were held with the socially vulnerable populations in Tbilisi, Zugdidi, and the village of Shilda. Besides, there were conducted six interviews with public servants from Tbilisi, Zugdidi, and the village of Shilda, and four interviews with representatives of various businesses from Tbilisi and Zugdidi. The Tolerance and Diversity Institute publishes a research – “Racial profiling in Georgia – Existing policies and practices of the police system towards ethnic minorities and migrants”. “The problem of racial profiling is current in the daily activities of police institutions in different countries. The police often use human visual characteristics and other personal data while performing routine procedures. In such a case, there occurs a risk that this data may make given group of society more relevant for the police, i.e. police officers may pay more attention to people with certain visual characteristics, unconditionally considering them as those posing increased risk”, - is stated in the introductory part of the research, - “The present research is the first that aims to study the current practice of racial profiling in Georgia based on experiences of police officers, migrants and ethnic minorities. We hope that this research will make a significant contribution to launching of public debates on the issue of racial profiling, while it will help the state to pursue appropriate policies”. International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy prepared a study – “Agitation of public servants on social networks”.  “In the modern world, the use of social networks for political and electoral purposes grows day by day. Social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter, have become the main platforms of candidates during an election campaign. It is specifically through these means that direct communication with voters, mobilization of supporters, or change of the public agenda takes place. The purpose of the study is to analyze the challenges of responding to the use of social networks for electoral/political purposes in Georgia, in particular: the legislative framework and the practice of response of relevant bodies to these cases. On July 22, on the occasion of the day of remembrance of those repressed, the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) offers you Soviet repressions related stories that are collected and retold by Georgian students and have happened directly to their families. “This way stories best demonstrate how Soviet terror and repressions are ingrained in the memory of Georgian youth, who have not witnessed themselves either the Soviet terror or the Soviet Union as such. The Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) conducted a large-scale research, within the framework of which the organization studied communist, totalitarian regime related names of settlements, streets, parks and squares, as well as other toponyms in the territory controlled by the state of Georgia. “Out of the 80 settlements studied, Soviet totalitarian toponyms can be found in 46. In 35 settlements, there can be found names of those people, events, organizations that have been connected with a special crime committed against Georgia or humanity.
